| 8.00 am | Breakfast at Bentota Avanhala |
| Bentota is the most popular beach stretch on the south west coast with many opportunities for water sports or a visit to the Turtle hatchery Enroute, a visit to the Mask and Puppet Museum at Ambalangoda and the famous Dutch Fort in Galle is a must. From Unawatuna to Weligama, the A 2 road runs close to the coast and this 20 km stretch offers a beautiful view of the beach and the Mirissa area which the home of the stilt fisherman. |

| 12.30 pm | Lunch at Bay Inn Weligama |
| 4.30 pm | Proceed to Tissamaharama Rest House for evening tea & snacks |
Spend the rest of the afternoon, lying by the pool or take a boat ride on the Tissamaharama yoda wewa (optional) |

| 8.30 pm | Return to Tissamaharama Rest House for dinner and overnight stay |

DAY 2 |
| 8.00 am | Traditional breakfast at Tissamaharama Rest House |
| 9.00 am | Depart for Kataragama to partake in the pooja at 10.30 am (with fruit offerings, optional) |
Kataragama is another great pilgrim shrine, which is dedicated to Skanda, a popular Hindu deity. Daily poojas are conducted in the morning and evening, which draw large crowds bringing offerings of fruits, flowers and incense to make and fulfill vows. |

| 3.30 pm | Departure for Yala safari tour (by jeep) |
Yala, the one of largest national parks in Sri Lanka covering over 100,000 hectares is renowned for its variety of wild life and is largely characteristic of its dry zone and tropical thorn forest. |
