Wedding packages

We can tailor make a wedding package to suit your requirements.

We have taken liberty of giving below some of the services we are able to provide. Cost will be furnished once requirements are known.

	Marriage licence and certificate
	Registrar fees
	Assistance locally from dedicated wedding co-coordinator
	Pre - Honeymoon Ayurveda Package, which included a mild aromatic 30 minutes body massage for the couple (only available at Lihiniya Surf Hotel, Bentota)
	Traditional Sri Lankan wedding dress (to be returned after the ceremony)
	Bouquet and buttonhole
	Wedding Cake
	Bottle of sparkling wine for couple during ceremony
	Witness if required
	Decorated wedding location
	Traditional oil lamp decorated with fresh flowers
	Traditional religious blessings sung by Sri Lankan girls

	Upgrade on wedding night (subject to availability)

Legal Requirements

	A minimum period of residency at your hotel of 4 days prior to the ceremony date
	The wedding will take place in the hotel premises and will be conducted by the Master of Ceremonies and can be arranged on any day (subject to availability) except Sundays and Public Holidays between 8 am and 6 pm.
	There is a minimum age requirement of 21 years.
	Documents Required - to reach us no less than 6 weeks (42 days) prior to your arrival in Sri Lanka
	Photocopies of the birth certificates of both partners
	Photocopies of passports
	If unmarried an Affidavit Certificate should be forwarded. If either partner is divorced or widowed Certificates of Divorce or Death Certificate.
	Originals of above documents will need to be produced in Sri Lanka at least 4 days prior to the ceremony.
	The appropriate marriage certificate and Ministry approval with English translation will be forwarded to you within 14 working days after the date of the ceremony.
